Meet the lead ATTORNEY
MALEHA KHAN-AVILA
From an immigrant Pakistani family, Attorney Maleha Khan-Avila was born and raised in California. She received her Bachelor of Arts, in Political Science Law and Society from University of California, Riverside in 2009 and her Juris Doctor in 2011 from California Western School of Law.
She has had success in numerous immigration court trials, remands from the Board of Immigration Appeals, and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals obtaining legal status for her clients.
She is member of California State Bar, Southern District of California, Central District of California and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
She was sworn into the California State Bar in June 2012, and has a strong social justice background. In her 11 years of practice she primarily handles immigration deportation cases, defending immigrants to prevent their deportation both in trial and as an appellate attorney.
